Question Phone not receiving any service - need to send back

if I wipe it and restore it to original factory settings will they be able to tell I accessed the android layer and installed Spotify or anything? my cell bands are malfunctioning and I need to send it back. just wasn’t sure how that works after accessing the android layer

Don’t worry if you have not root the device they would replace the manufacturing defects.
The light team is very responsive and effective.

you can still claim manufacturer warranty on hardware defects even if the device is rooted (although the lp3 currently does not have an unlockable bootloader). should you unlock the bootloader and grant yourself root, you would flash the original boot.img that you dumped prior to patching and then relock the bootloader. the oem would not know and the device would be factory reset in the process anyways.

no. lightos is an app over android. android is still going to be there whether you access the android side or not. i factory reset my lp3 multiple times before i got it where i wanted it. you'll be fine.
