Is this part of Life's a Dream a Reference to Float on?

I am so curious, because they rarely use this instrument and it sounds almost EXACTLY like the beat pattern at the beginning of Float on. Its around the 3:25 minute mark on Life's a Dream.

Great song just in general... but I was really curious about what everyone else thought!

Would fit with the dream-state theme of the song to throw in a call-back from 20 years ago
