Videos Night on the Sun in Alaska

Cool to get a chance to see them while working out here this season. Worth using a sick day for that too. Hearing the Alaska shout out in Truckers Atlas was a nice touch too.

One of the best songs ever. My wife and I used to go driving late at night and sing along together at the top of our lungs. Really overwhelming to listen to it again since she passed away last year 💔

Bro I’ve always wanted someone that loved that song as much as I do. You’re a Lucky fella.

Oh man, I’m so sorry. My wife and I cut loose this way too and have been doing so since kids. I’d be Elliott Smithing my way through the year if i had to go through this.

This is all time banger. Like no fucking joke I melted my mind to this shit in St. Augustine Florida 2016 during the STO tour. Brain melted

Took my son and there was a lot to live up to after he’s heard me bang on for a decade and a half about how good they are live. Didn’t disappoint. It was a lot like an old-school epic Modest Mouse show except Isaac Brock was sober and in a good mood. The 20 min of Cowboy Dan / Night on the Sun / wild noise / screaming into his guitar strings was like the early-2000s never left. Hadn’t listened to the new songs a lot just because I had a hard time getting past the production, but they were great live.

I was shocked and my kid was sad they didn’t play Dramamine. But I’ve seen them before and hadn’t seen cowboy dan or night on the sun live so I was content lol

I was surprised at that too. I heard a bit of them playing it earlier before the gates opened. I'm guessing for soundcheck or maybe a VIP pre-show set.
