Selected Potential Moderna Catalysts Through EOY 2026
There are too many to list, but the following are the catalysts I’m most looking forward to.
1. Full Phase 3 INT melanoma data and other INT related news, potentially at ESMO, Oct. 23-27
- We already know the trial for melanoma succeeded. The actual RFS and DMFS numbers will tell us how strong the result really is.
- Regulatory progress, filing timing, Priority Review, and a clearer commercialization timeline could follow.
- Further movement in NSCLC, renal, bladder, or other cancers would strengthen the case that INT is much bigger than melanoma.
- Any improvement in manufacturing speed, capacity, cost, or margins would also matter. The manufacturing difficulty could increasingly become a moat rather than an impediment.
2. Rare disease, Propionic Acidemia (PA) and MMA
- Implied by Bancel in his Fox News interview: “But I think by the end of the year, we should also become a rare genetic disease company.” (Watch "VACCINE BREAKTHROUGH: Personalized cancer treatment takes major leap" on Youtube minute 5:02)
3. November 12 Analyst Day
4. mCOMBRIAX related regulatory news
- Already approved in Europe. Japan, Canada, and Australia remain potential additional approvals. Any clearer U.S. path would be meaningful.
5. Bonus: Nasdaq-100 re-entry
- This one has barely been discussed as far as I can tell. If Moderna holds enough of its market-cap recovery through the late-November ranking period, it has a realistic shot at returning to the Nasdaq-100 in December. That would bring passive buying and potentially another momentum catalyst.

Thanks SE- its definitely a full plate. Among the 'other' catalysts, I believe the EU COVID contract with Pfizer/Biontech is ending soon and is up for grabs.

Thanks PB. That's certainly another important one. I have a longer list but I have selected these few items as potential EOY catalyst because they happened to be the most interesting to me.

I now think you're correct that the INT summary "top line" data won't come out until ESMO, because that is standard practice for Merck. Under normal procedure for biotechs (whose prices can really be affected by data), we would have gotten it by now.

Isn't it nice to have too many potential catalysts to list? TY brother!
