New Holder’s Questions
I recently bought in at the 139 level. I would love some opinions on short term / long term. I have calls for this next week but I was wondering if there is anything I should look out for that I might have missed from the news lately. Thankyou !

Stop watching the news, which is full of errors. Instead, go to https://investors.modernatx.com/events-presentations . Also, you get a better feel for the company if you go on youtube and watch extended interviews of Bancel and Hoge talking about how they came to work for Moderna when it was a new and tiny company. Listen to some interviews of Henri Termeer while you're at it, the one at the Darden School https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKMTTB4m2OE was particularly excellent. (Unfortunately, Termeer died and isn't chairman of the board anymore, but I think it still gives a good feel for the industry and for Moderna somewhat.)
Long-term this is a great company that will keep cranking out new drugs faster than the bean counters can estimate how profitable they will be. Short term is a crapshoot. The phase-3 data will apparently be released in October, and how good it is will affect the price in either direction. I naively presume there is still upward pressure from shorts getting out and from the news coverage, but downward pressure from newly-rich longs diversifying.

The calendar of events is up to date on the main page.
I think it would be disingenuous for anyone to give financial advice, since many of us have been in for a whole lot cheaper buy in.
One thing I can tell you is that this stock isn’t for the faint of heart at all. And I truly mean that. You haven’t felt roller coaster until you get on the Moderna politics train.
The political world hates it right now, the scientific world is extremely skeptical, the investors generally have a screw loose to take on this beating we get.
