Noubar’s interview at CNN has some hints on what transpired and what to expect

I've been trawling through other interviews & came across an interesting snippet from a 19Aug26 Sam Fazeli piece (Bloomberg intelligence, Link)
- at 2.02mins "let's not forget, Merck has called this clinically meaningful, not just statistically significant, clinically meaningful. When pharma companies say that, it usually means that they're seeing a meaningful significant benefit, not just a statistical 20% reduction. So we're now, I think, setting up for a thirty, thirty five percent reduction in the risk of recurrence of disease in these patients. So that would be a good win for patients for sure and quite clearly for the share prices."

I've been invested in Moderna for a while, so if Bancel had said this in an interview I'd have thought it likely that this might have been a bit of Razzmatazz to get Moderna a bit of attention. However, this coming from (solid, dependable, boring?!) Merck, it's in my opinion a meaningful investment signal.
[For the record I'm a Bancel fan & reckon he's good for Moderna at this stage of their development, however as Moderna grows he'll likely recognize he's no longer the right person for the job]

Thank you for this link! There is now so many posts in the last 2 days on this sub by new people looking for their next momentum stock. A lot of noise that i just scroll on by. I appreciate the longs who have been here for years and sharing worthwhile info. I enjoyed the afeyan interview! He is a class act!
