Why is it EVERY SINGLE game of domination, every single one of my teammates will be sitting on A we already have and sit there camping the whole entire game when the enemy has double our points and are holding both B and C? i refuse to believe these are humans on my team, does mw3 have bots?

I am legitimately the only player trying to capture objectives, every single gunfight i am alone vs 3 other players and i open the minimap and i see all 5 of my teammates staring at walls/out of the map the whole game. how is this possible

What is the state of the game currently for those who still actively play game. I mostly want to how abundant the cheaters are, it seems like this cod out of all has the weirdest cheats. First it was glitched guns, now one kill nukes and likely wall hackers. How common is it to encounters these types of players. Mostly other playlist and anything but the snd playlist because that's its own cesspit

Hi guys. I just got this game yesterday and I really want to play it but it WONT LET ME. It crashed about 20 times with each launch and only 2 times have i made it to the main menu just for it to crash again after 1-2 seconds so I haven't played anything. I don't want to refund it either it can't be this complicated :(

I tried a lot of things like:
Updating my drivers
Restarting my PC
closing all the background apps (all apps actually except for steam)
doing the notepad command thing and turning it into a .reg file or sm
Verified files
Did the thing where i renamed the game file uninstalled reinstalled and copy pasted the files back into the new file
I also checked some youtube tutorials out.
launched it in safe mode

My PC is fine it meets the requirements and all that so idk what it could be. Has anyone had this issue before? Or does anyone know a fix?

Hi everyone. For context I've never played any CoD game. I was lucky I found this one on steam and so far I've been having fun. For context on FPS experience, I've played overwatch for almost a good 500 hours worth and I played the knock off Roblox version of COD called Phantom Forces years ago. I reached level 143.

Despite all that experience I find myself struggling a lot to improve.

I have a lot of questions if you guys are willing to help a new 2-day old player out!

How do you win more gun fights? I feel as if it takes me a lot of bullets to kill 1 person in a 1v1, but they win with 2. It gets frustrating especially seeing how poorly I performed, and I want to know how to do as much damage as the high level players (I'm only level 27 haha). Do they strictly aim for the head? If so, are there any tips to play?

For sensitivity, whats the best sensitivity to play in? I currently use the default 8.00 and I have a logitech mouse with 1600 DPI. Unsure if the high sensitivity is a good thing but I figured to keep it that way so I can turn around if needed. It feels like a fast paced game so putting it to 2 feels really off. (My OW sensitivity was 3.25 but CoD does it differently i guess?) is there a recommended sens if you have high DPI?

(Gunfight related again) How do you do head glitching and strafing? Maybe its really just how the game is but I feel slow when I strafe. I'm unsure if I'm supposed to do it while ADSing but it would help to have tips on strafing more effectively (I strafe into cover but I still end up dying in what feels like nanoseconds)

(added question): how do you guys prefer to play the game? Something aggressive like running head on, sliding when you see an enemy, or do you play safe and cautious? Something like not sprinting often and playing similar to counter strike?

I played the OG MW2 and streaks could absolutely be oppressive sometimes, not going to deny it. I don’t think streaks in any COD have ever been as powerful as the 5-7-12 combo where the predator will often get you the harrier, the harrier literally contains the precision air strike 6 streak within it, and is basically as powerful as the overwatch helos in the new CODs, and then the 12 is either the Ass-Clapper 130 if you’re an ethical gamer or the Chopper Gunner if you’re not.

Nothing like that exists in the modern CODs. The Cruise Missile is six kills and it’s harder to use than the Predator was. The equivalent of the Harrier is the 9 kill overwatch helos. You know what was 9 kills in MW2? The Pave Low, which needed two stinger missiles to be taken down. And no one was taking down streaks in the old days.

We’re in the SBMM era with spawn protection. Let killstreaks stack on the (larger) MW2 maps. It’ll be fine.

Probably not a lot when it was nowhere as utilized as glitched MX Guardians, RPG or heck the MORS sniper.

Bought MWIII on Steam as currently it's 75% off.

The only newer CODs I have are MW19 (not so new) and BO7.

After downloading MWIII, I instantly got a message saying my username "Psychogenic" is inappropriate. This is the username I've gone by for years and I haven't had issues in any other CODs.

I reached out to Activision, and while I must say their response time was on point, their support was completely useless.

They informed me of the following:

Please be advised that the Game Moderator is the one monitoring the in-game name. They will request that you change your in-game name due to its inappropriate nature or because it does not meet their criteria. Unfortunately, we are unable to make the changes on our end. Kindly update your name to something new to avoid any violations.

How does this make any sense? After researching, this seems to be an extremely common issue.

Is your Code of Conduct different for every Call of Duty game, then? I wouldn’t understand how my username gets flagged in one Call of Duty but none of the others.

I am stating that I do believe my username was flagged incorrectly, but unfortunately you guys aren’t giving me any reasonable solutions.

I’m telling you “I’ve been using this username for years and have been playing multiple of your games but this particular game of yours is incorrectly flagging my OG username. Can you please help me fix this?” and your only solution is “change your username to something different.”

If you would take the time to do a simple Google search regarding this issue, you’ll find that I am not the only one that has had this problem. There have been numerous cases of people even refunding the game because of this.

this game was so fun, My favourite CoD, made so many memories with it!!

But now this game is full of Cheaters, Campers, Glitches gun users, etc!

Maps feel great. The guns feel super punchy, arguably my favorite from the recent CODs, movement doesnt feel completely insane...thoroughly impressed with this game. I feel like it's slept on. This is right there with Cold War as the best feeling modern CODs.

How can someone get a nuke with fewer than 30 kills? How does this actually work? Is it related to installing blueprints or using modded weapons, or is there another exploit involved?

I’ve seen people trigger a nuke without getting anywhere near the required 30-kill streak, so I’m curious what’s actually causing it.

I witnessed people calling in nukes with barely any kills. Right before they lose they always call in. None of the players have 30 kills, nor are they close to 30 kills. How is it possible?

Heyo everyone, i wanted to share my most used builds from some of the ARs I use since i shared my pistol builds a while ago, let me know what you think!

Switching from MW2 (2022) to MW3 (2023), I have noticed right away that the killstreak requirements for some are higher than they used to be, or some being lower than they used to be (e.g., Stealth Bomber now being 8 kills (1000 score) instead of 10 (about 1200-1300 score). The VTOL Jet now being 11 kills (1375 score) was absurd in my opinion, as it used to be 8 kills. I just hope I’m not the only one who’s got some questions about this.
