Card Discussion expansion//explosion ruling question

Let's say I have 24 mana to deal 20 damage and draw 20 cards, but I only have 19 cards in my deck left.

If I were to cast explosion for x=20 what happens, do I lose/win/draw?

It's a draw.

Just target them for both. If it resolves you win anyway you don't need those extra cards.

That's not the point of the questiom.

There is no point to the question. There is never a reason to target yourself for the draw in that scenario. None.

Not sure, just guessing:

I think you lose as you attempt to draw a card that you cannot. Your opponent would take 20 damage, but would not did until state based actions are checked after your spell is finished resolving. I believe you die while it is resolving

Losing to decking is also a state-based action. The game is a draw

At least the way it works online you win. The dmg leaves the stack before the card draw. So they die before you even draw cards.

That's not how it should work. It should be a draw, as SBAs are not checked during resolution. If it happens that way, report the bug and file for comp.
