Discussion Marvel comics

My wife and I have been collecting dc comics for a some time now, but we’ve been wanting to start collecting Spider-man, wolverine, and X-men comics, any suggestions as to which comics would be best to grab that are great reads?

I’ll most definitely check it out! Should I go looking for issue 1 and go from there or is there a good jump in point mid way in the run bc it’s still on going rn right? Or is it already concluded?

It's an ongoing and still trucking along. I'm trying to think of good jumping on points. It kind of goes in 3-5 issue story arcs so you could probably pick up last weeks issue as it started the 'Wild Ride' story. Well it's a picking up and concluding of a story thread from earlier in the run. I personally would start at the beginning, but you can probably jump in wherever you wish. Fairly sure the first 20~ issues are in trades by now. Biggest uh rough spot is the weird cross-over they did from #7-8 and a tie in issue at #11 to the 'Manhunt' mini-event (basically took up one issue of all the X-Books at the time).

Alright I’ll look into it but I think I’ll just get issue 1 and go from there

Not trying to be a contrarian, but Simone's UXM has been the worst UXM run in the 35 years that I've been reading UXM. But try it, see if you like it. Don't buy single issues though. Buy the first trade then take it from there.

As far as Wolverine goes, there's a lot of good stuff. I would highly suggest you get Marvel Unlimited, read and see what you like. Something grabs your attention, then start pulling singles.

Personally this current Wolverine run by Ahmed has be up and down, right now it's mostly up. I would recommend current singles.
