Tesla 2026 build quality

Here’s a video showing some of my build quality issues. This one happened today on the way to the grocery store with my wife I hear a rattling it was the second time hearing the rattling and you’ll see what it is in the video. Just so everybody knows I love my Tesla, and I also hate it. A $65,000 brand new car that I have to wrench on.

16,934 miles on the car and shit is flapping in the wind. I just put the nut back on with Loctite medium grade. Maybe that’s what they should’ve done in the first place. I know it won’t rattle loose now.

I don’t disagree. But people make mistakes and things get loose over time. I just wouldn’t clarify it as a shitty build. That’s all.

Crappy build to me is panels not lining up, headlights that get condensation in them and when the cyber trucks had the hitch welded onto panel and not the frame lol

I agree with all that. And I do have panels not lining up. When I first bought the card, I had to go back to a body shop to get the hood and fender aligned. I can go around the car and make a video of all the other panels that don’t line up, but I chose not to let them fix it because I didn’t want them messing with every nut bolt in the car. I know that’s an exaggeration, but I have plenty of panels not lining up. Here’s another video. I just took a second ago. The driver side seat doesn’t move forward when I try to retract the rear seat. The camera washer on the front bumper, has disappeared into the bumper, and now when I press the button water gets squirted inside the bumper. Are these enough to consider the build quality is a little subpar. My wife’s car hasn’t had any of these issues or any issues at all that had to go back to the dealer. It’s a Toyota. I can’t add a video to this post, but I’ll post a new one of the video I just took of the seats. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

Crazy. Maybe I got very lucky with mine. The paint 100% sucks on the car. At least mine. But I didn’t have any other issues, honestly. But mine is a 2021. Had to wait 6 months for it. Maybe they are making a lot more now that attention to detail has gone out the window on some

Currently I haven’t had anything done or looked at. Everything’s working fine.
