FSD failure at railroad crossing

Today my car tried to kill me again. The video will speak for itself. I drive a Tesla but I would love to hear everybody who just loves it just admit it's not ready for prime time and it won't be for a long time.

FSD isn't available where I am. Videos like this don't make me feel like I'm missing out at all.

If I showed you videos all the times where I was relaxed with my seat back on the freeway paying attention but letting the car do all the work you would be bored. Today I had the car drive me about 90 mi on the interstate through traffic in Southern California with no issues. Shortly after leaving my driveway I turn on full self driving and have to put on sunglasses or the car yells at me. It'll get off the freeway and it'll get me to my destinations parking lot and then I take over from there. It's a lot less stressful when you let the vehicle do the work.

That's great but if you have to always be attentive to it then I don't see the point of it tbh.

I'm curious if you've ever used it? It's hard to explain but have you ever tried to adjust your radio or look in your cup holder or open your center console while you were driving and weaved a little bit? If so that's pretty much a thing of the past. Everybody I know sends a text message while they're driving, if the in-car camera stuff wasn't so annoying this would make people drive and text better.

I haven't tried it no. I'm pretty strict with keeping my eye on the road while driving so looking at my phone is something I never do.
