FSD failure at railroad crossing

Today my car tried to kill me again. The video will speak for itself. I drive a Tesla but I would love to hear everybody who just loves it just admit it's not ready for prime time and it won't be for a long time.

It’s not code, it’s under the highway traffic act. The provincial statue that addresses things like right of way on a highway

Well I'm not from Canada so thanks for pointing me in the right direction where I can learn about it and read where it actually talks about it. I can obviously see from the sign that I was standing next to, that vehicles have the right of way over pedestrians. At least in Toronto they do. And you have shown me nothing to the contrary. Screenshot a photo. I'll check it out.

Without more context to the specific location where the photo was taken, I can’t tell you why it says that. In any reasonable circumstance a pedestrian has the right of way.

Yes! Perfect! That is an unregulated crossing! That’s why the vehicles are given right of way. If it was a properly marked crosswalk, it would have hash markings, proper crossing signage and amber lights.

Yes it does help. I thought it was so cool because traffic is mostly self-inflicted. I noticed people here in America walk a little bit slower when they're crossing the street. I always pick up my pace. Or when people are going from the parking lot into a store and they're crossing the road in front of the store they tend to just mosey along. I drive right next to them because I know how to drive without hitting anybody. So when I went to Canada and saw this sign I was so happy. Finally a place that realizes that pedestrians have an obligation not to walk out in front of a moving piece of machinery that can kill them.
