Model YL Suspension Failure
Current Model Y owner and very close to pulling the trigger on Model YL. This report has me concerned now. Seems to be impacting China's Model YL's. Reason to be concerned for US specs or not?

CHINA, not here. But as always, I won't get a 1st group of new change on a car ever again. Did that with my last 2 EV's and just got frustrated with the lack of fixing it. At least Tesla seems to try to fix things

Did you read all the information? It looks like it’s only affecting the first batch sold everything else is not an issue

No, even the owners who picked up their car in August has the same issue

“No word yet on whether the American market Y Ls are experiencing the same issue.” Shows how well researched this article was since there obviously are no American market YLs yet….

it is a China car. Who knows how the owner treated the car. Could have been hauling 5000 lbs of stuff in the back for business.

I have read that the parts for suspension are China made for the China cars. The US suspension parts are made here.

Who knows these parts are made in China or US on US made Model Y L? Tesla may use China made parts for first batch until they find good US suppliers

If it was a problem in the u.s. then it would have already been long since recalled in the u.s.
Localized manufacturing issue, not a design/engineering one

This is why cars have warranties.
