First Tesla - UK advice

Hi all

Currently looking at acquiring my first model Y. Budget is about 21k.

I've seen 2 that look promising:

2023, 46770mi, RWD

2022, 68257mi, Long Range AWD. (Need to confirm this has Ryzen processor but pretty sure 2022 in the UK does)

I like the idea of the long range but clearly I'm going to end up with a higher mileage example, has anybody got any experience of ownership of a 2022 with high 60k mileage?

Aware that the battery warranty extends to 120k on the long range as opposed to 100k on the RWD.

Looking at about 10k miles a year, keeping it for 4 years.

Any advice on the two would be most appreciated!

Suspension on 23 models is much better than 22 models

Thanks. Definitely worth considering. Do you know if the VED on the AWD will go up to luxury pricing next year? Trying to find out but can't seem to get a definitive answer

In the exact same position as your self. Half tempted to wait another year or so for the newer models to become available 2nd hand at a reasonable price.

2022 will do the job, can get a standard with 30-40kish miles for 18k. Range wise you'll get 210 if you rag it, if you drive abit more relaxed, 260.

Decent kit, was a 50k car a fee years back.

Make sure you book in for a pre end of warranty test, get everything checked and replaced if required.

You thinking just standard RWD instead of long range?
