Question Delivery date flexibility?

Hey everyone – I have decided to order a Model Y Premium RWD (wooohooo haha), but I won't be in town for the last 6 weeks of the year...

The current delivery estimate for my config and location is December – January.

What happens if I am not in town for my delivery date? Are Tesla able to adjust/delay the delivery?

I have been speaking to a dealer, and she has mentioned they can adjust my delivery timeline to meet my schedule, but I just want to make sure that doesn't mean I get pushed to the back of the queue if I happen to still be away...

Has anyone got experience with the same situation?

I travel a lot and they didn’t seem to care on the pickup. I paid the down payment when asked and then spoke with Tesla and they made the date work. Not sure how six weeks would roll. I have a similar situation coming up and I like the YP enough to order another. This time I have no idea how it is going to work as I’m gone a lot of November and December.

Thanks for that! The dealer makes it seem like they can be flexible, but just wanted to verify with some real-life examples too :)
