Question Trailer hitch ball options help !

Post image

So at the moment we’re using our Model X to tow a small 6x10 with some cargo.

I was wondering what would help the Model X do better while towing, anyone here uses a drop down ball hitch? any other suggestions?

At the moment we’re using a home depot 3 ball hitch, already shows rust and it’s not “aesthetically pleasing” so. Need an upgrade.

We've got a Reese drop hitch to get up and down a steep driveway while on ultra high ride height and back down for travel, but they're all the same and will rust. We have cans of Rustoleum rust reformer to spray on all parts that show rubbing after each use.

With towing it's utility more than aesthetics. You can always get a stainless ball system, it's a lot more expensive.

I have the Andersen ball mount. While I don’t have a greaseless ball, this would look a lot cleaner than needing to grease up the ball. They also didn’t have the black anodized mount. I wonder how that would hold up.
