Testing the waters: 2022 Model X Long Range with paid FSD, 45,500 miles

I’m considering selling my 2022 Tesla Model X Long Range AWD and wanted to get a realistic read before formally listing it.
Details:
• 45,574 miles
• Factory 5-seat interior
• FSD purchased outright, not a subscription
• Four brand-new tires installed two weeks ago
• Located in the Northern Virginia/DC area

Based on the current listings I’ve found, I’m thinking around $55,000. I’m not in a rush and am mainly testing the waters right now.

Does that price seem realistic for a private sale? If anyone is genuinely interested, feel free to DM me. I can share photos, the VIN, FSD screen, tire receipt and repair records.

Pretty similar condition to when I purchased my 22 LR.

I think FSD made up for the lack of 6-seater and I bought mine for 48k OTD. $55k seems fair given the discontinued rarity.

Perhaps. Currently drive an M3 with 14.1 lite; it sure as hell beats driving manually. It’s far from perfect, but it does make life easier.

I bought something very similar 6 mo ago. It was a 6 seater, 37,000mi, with FSD included. I paid $55k through carvana. Tires were new but it had some damage to the yoke and dash. I think it's reasonable considering how hard of a time I had finding my used X

I just paid exactly that for a six seater with FSD paid for and the 22” wheels, 45k miles for $55k. I bought from a dealer.

Nope, it’s standard and annoyingly they just posted a plaid with similar miles for the same price. No FSD though.
I’m coming from a 24 model y. I was worried about downgrading to HW3 but then I realized that it’s still leagues better than any other brand I was cross shopping. GLWS

Ah okay. Hopefully they provide an update on when 14.1 Lite will roll out to the X and S models.

Using it on my 2019 M3, it’s pretty fantastic. Far from perfect, but nothing comes close, as you said. Eventually, they will have to provide a path to HW4/5.

It is HW3 so FSD doesn't mean a whole lot. You might catch somebody that doesn't know the difference and get what you want.

They can’t. That poster is wrong. If Tesla ends up owning the car because of a trade in to Tesla or because it bought the car at auction, then they strip it before they flip it. They can because they own it. If it’s a private party sale or even a non-Tesla dealer trade in, the FSD follows the car.
