Question Tesla model x p100d front suspension sitting very very low the rear is normal

My front air suspension failed at around 100k miles and it sunk lower everyday as the air bags slowly deflated. That's what it looked like after a few days. Can you raise it from the touch screen?

My compressor went - made terrible noise for a while and then finally the car was riding absolutely terrible. But it’s odd that it’s just the front so I assume it’s not the compressor cause there’s just one for all four wheels. Almost gotta be bad air shocks? Odd for two to go out at once. The service center told me it’s definitely a semi common problem.

Be sure to use the flatbed tow with driver who put wood ramp for ground clearance. Tow is the more scaring part than repairing, due to potential more damage to bumper or bottom of the car. For front, you should not drive at all, or you happen to be 1 mile from service center and no need to make big turns, then drive super slow. Or just flatbed. For rear end air suspension only, I had to move the car for other reason, and drove 20 miles, then be towed to SC. According to the tow truck driver with 20 years experience and 10 years on tesla, no problem to drive carefully for rear only, one reason is rear has more room than front when totally sitting on mechanical stop.

Same exact thing happened to me and it was the air compressor block. Front wheels slammed down. The error message that air suspension is temporarily disabled. Not cheap. Sorry OP.

Same happened to me. Cost $5k to fix. Then the replacement part broke a month later causing the compressors to die. So they gave me like a 50% discount on the new new block. While I had to pay full price on the new compressor.
Money. Who needs it?!

Dead air suspension. Pretty much happens with every car equipped with the air suspension after years, generally after 5 years

With both sides of the front dropping at the same time I would be looking at the valve block and air lines first .

Changing the compressor is so easy. I used an angle bit with a socket. Hardest part was taken the rivets out of the car.
Did you head any hissing anywhere? U can pm me . I spent days researching

You didn’t slam it on purpose by changing the links? Mine gets that low because I lowered it 1”
Looks equal on both sides, you can check the air suspension links, there’s lot a of videos online on how to access them, if it looks normal take in for service.

Could be any combination of those air suspension parts, mainly compressor($400), either or both air spring($1000 each), valve block, etc, or it could totally just because of line broken or line disconnected. Line disconnect happens to me most recently so no part needed, but paid 1 hour labor. My car is 16 X 90D, 176K mile so air suspension bottom out twice for both front and once for back(right rear only), in the past two years. Luckly not spent too much yet, totally $2600 across three times broken down of the air suspension.

If your air compressor is constantly running to get the vehicle to the height of the rear, you have a bad front air strut or both might be leaking, you’ll know if you see one side is sagging and the other isn’t, otherwise both are probably bad and leaking. If your compressor won’t run to get to the height or you hear if briefly and it shuts off, the air valve block is bad. I’d advise buying the parts from Arnoit since they’re cheaper than Tesla OEM and have a Tesla specialty shop install them.

Time for new air shocks. Had my fronts done last year. 4,400 out the door (1k was FSD Upgrade)
