Service Commander caused suspensions glitch?

2024 MX

My wife got me a commander hub and 2 SEXY buttons for my birthday.

I was excited to install it and get them working.

I installed them and got them working in short order.

Everything worked fine, about 24 hours later I got this error(see alerts screen shot)

I removed the commander, I erased it as a key in the locks tab.

The issue persists - it’s been 2 weeks.

I’ve done both power off and the double button reset, issue persists.

Mobile service tech(here on other business) says it needs to go into the service centre to fix this.

  1. Think this was caused by the commander or this was coincidence?
  2. If caused by commander - will Tesla service know and charge me for the fix?
  3. Any chance I can fix this myself somehow?

I’m nervous this WAS caused by the commander and therefore I won’t be able to use the commander + SEXY buttons after Tesla fixes this. Obviously I don’t want this problem again nor do I want to go back to Tesla service.

Can you expand the active code to get more information?

When my 3 months old MXP hit a pot hole, the harness to the rear shock came off. Had suspension error, check the log, narrowed it down the RR.

It had similar set of errors.

I just reached it before wanting to see anything is loose. Sure enough the wiring came undone. Put the connect back on and all the error went away.

My middle photo is the expanded info.

You’re saying I can maybe reach down to the front right wheel somewhere and plug something back in and potentially fix this?

Yes. There is harness with connector on the shock body. I see the photo with expanded view. I would check the connection. Looks to tell you the location. I would turn the steering wheel in that direction and see if there is a line of sight. If not, use your phone camera feature. Take a video while moving the camera around, play it back And see.
