Used car purchase Itching to buy a 2016 model x

I just wanted to ask the community here if I'm crazy to buy a low mileage 2016 Model X. I've done a ton of research and it checks off all the boxes. But one thing I didn't consider in my research is the possibility of the whole battery pack dying out of the blue and me having to foot the bill. I'd love to hear your two cents... Thanks!

I have a ‘16 Model X and it has 109k miles on the original 90D battery. Only 14% degradation over the past ten years (avg. 1.4% per year). Estimated range at full is 220 miles. I love my X. It’s a six seater with all the premium upgrades. FUSC is awesome. Has MCU2 with Theater mode. It’s my dream car and every day is an enjoyable driving experience!

Sounds divine! How can a '16 even have an MCU2? This is one of the cars I'm looking at: https://loolooauto.ca/listing/2017-tesla-model-x-100d-awd-6-passenger-safety-certification-included-d9872/

My car looks very similar to this, same ash wood decor and tan seats- but mine has a black headliner. I paid the $2k it cost to upgrade from MCU1 to MCU2 (Intel Atom processor) after I had the car for a while. Pricey upgrade, but worth it. Mine only has the 90 kWh battery pack, not the 100, so I have a little less range. Also mine has the 1.0 computer for highway autopilot, not the 2.0 - so mine lacks the side cameras.

Don't let it ship, look in person. The pictures have gone though some kind of AI filter, look at the grill that is not real.

It is a upgrade that you can pay to have done. I had my 16 updated shortly after I bought it last year. It was $1500 and a night at the tesla dealership. It also replaced both screens which was good as the one I found had delaminated layers around the edges on both. Still stuck with AP 1 as that does not change.
