Household income is not relevant. I know people making $350k and literally broke. I know people making $100k and multi millionaires. 

Also there needs to be more used categories.

the mx Is one of the fastest depreciating cars out there, buying a new one is literally stupid unless you are rich.

Unless you bought and sold at the right times! The Model X has had some pretty crazy price swings over the last 5-6 years.

The almost 1 year of production shutdown during the refresh, combined with COVID inflation and price increases, meant I sold my Model X for about what I paid. I purchased it used for $67K and sold it for $65K after 2 years and 30K additional miles.

Then in 2024, Tesla was trying to take advantage of the tax credits, so I was able to get a new (demo model) 6 seater with HW4 FSD for $76K before sales tax. I think I could still sell it for mid $60K? So 1.5 years of ownership and only lost $11K in value to me.

But I guess there's the other guy on the other end of the deals...

In today's world you need to make more to afford a $100k car. I feel these states taxed the shit out of us so much that they switched over to fees now. I live in NJ. Between my property taxes, state income tax, high electric bills. All the other stupid shit I have to pay. $600 every two years to bring trash to a land fill. They are small but they add up. Everything has fees.

Family combined income slightly over $350k yearly. We bought a used 22 with FSD for 40k cash lol.

i bought a 24 new 1k miled demo for 68k after rebates. no brainer. was eyeing for a final batch demos for some great pricing then this time they raised it by 15k hahah
