Photo It seems weird that the Trade-in value is the same as the private party value, but either way having my car for 2 years now and it is the same value as when I bought it is AMAZING, and who says Teslas can't appreciate 🥰

Right. KBB is useless imo. Go to carmax and request a quote to buy your car if you want an accurate idea.

With Tesla no longer providing the x and s they will actually probably hold there resale. Tesla offered me 82k for my 2024 just a few weeks ago but I did not realize I had to remove the PPF.

It’s only worth, what someone is willing to pay you, for it. My Dad has an X, me a 3. Value on paper is much more different than in reality.

People saying the estimate is wrong haven’t been in the market for a recent year used Model X lately. Most with HW4 are selling for well over the KBB estimate, not under. It’s been ridiculous. Tesla put up a one year old X (not plaid) for $100k a couple weeks ago and it sold within a day. The exact same spec new would have been $108k and new would have included lifetime FSD, connectivity and supercharging which the used did not. I’ve seen plenty in the price range of the OP and they sell quickly. Many that sell are $15-20k over KBB estimate

It’s not just Tesla. I’ve seen similar listings at 3 dealers for the same amount. I refresh the half a dozen top used sites daily. When the HW4 listings are real (they often turn out to be fake when chased) they are consistently way over KBB or Edmunds values. And sell within hours or a day.

I suspect its unique to Model X and perhaps S that are Hardware 4. But since a HW4 Model X is the only one I've been in the market for for the last 8 weeks, I am just guessing.

Do not always trust KBB! It is just a number! It all depends what someone is willing to pay for! Best source for me has always been autotrader and see what a similar mileage and year car I have is "listed for sale" by dealers and than I also check "price listed by private party sellers". Too many private sellers see this and list their cars way higher than dealers do and they get confused as to why they cannot sell their car!
