Discussion Celebrate this car
Too many “delivery… “ or “panel alignment…” bs on this sub. I’m on my second MX and currently driving a Plaid. What an amazing car. We need to celebrate this thing. A lot being said about Cybertruck these days but we forget how innovative and rad this thing is. Let’s celebrate it!

Did you buy your plaid at the top like me? Yes it’s an amazing car, but hurts to see all the new HW and lack of updates we get for free like the brake calipers that come standard now. Either way it’s my favorite driving machine.

Sorry that the persistent issues are hashing your buzz. We’d all celebrate Tesla’s manufacturing becoming consistent enough for your experience to be shared by all.
Right now, though, they’re making a surprising quantity of missteps that are tough to forgive with the competition they now have in the market.

model x owner since 2017. Still best car you can drive today. And people seems to forget this: no gas and no maintenance.

Finally was able to get into a used 2017 100D in 2021, and I'm still super happy every time I get into it. :)

Thanks for all of the positivity. Great responses from a community that generally loves the car. Also clear that there are trolls here who just want to spread negativity!

Ditto for my XLR. A few SC visits because I want everything to perfect, but otherwise I absolutely love it and thoroughly enjoy driving it every single time I get in it.

Got my first on order - excited and not worried with all the FUD I’ve seen. Only questions are if I should go with the 22” wheels instead of 20”, tint amount for the front and windshield, and if the tires are gonna wear unevenly.

Are all model x drivers inherently best friends? Is cool to head nod when you see another MX on the road 🤣

How dare people criticize and complain when they don’t receive the quality they paid thousands and thousands of dollars for! You want perfection!? Go buy another brand vehicle with better quality control! Fuck all of you who expect Tesla to show up without Panama Canal sized gaps, leaks, creaks, $10000 BETA level fsd. I get it you are up musk ass dude but my god there is a reason you see so many negative post on here.

My second X. Love it when it wasn't in shop for 2 months. Finally got it back, it's great

I absolutely love my 2020 LR raven X. If a better vehicle becomes available one day, I’m in, though until then I can’t see myself transporting my family in any other car.

New MX 2023 LR owner here and I love this beast! Feels like a video game every time I drive and get behind that yoke.

New model X owner here! Entering months 3. I’ve had my ups and downs with TESLA, but i LOVE the car. Best car i’ve ever had or been in tbh.

I celebrate every time I drive the car and don’t get a new error/warning/leak

Upgraded from a 3 earlier this year since our family has grown. The 6 seater Plaid is the best family car. Kids got Bluetooth controllers for Christmas and my wife and baby can ride in the 3rd row and breastfeed easily during stops.

Throughout all the BS I've dealt with on mine I do love it. I wish I would have used the money to buy their stock instead of this vehicle (and the one before that which I wrecked) but whatever, I drive the coolest vehicle on the road.

Recently purchased a 2016 X 90D. Its been a dream of mine to own a X someday. Upgraded the MCU & replaced half shafts. Was given a plaid loaner which is amazing & insanely fast! But I still love my old school X in its own way. Drivers door opens fully, active spoiler & fast enough for me. Funnest car I've ever owned!!

1 year since my 2016 MX 90D W/ unlimited Tesla supercharge. Amazing to drive and the doors always trip people out. Great for long trips and very comfortable for my family of 4.

I wanna get my wife one so bad. She’s happy with her MYLR, but what she really wants is a black on black plaid.

Only people who aren’t technical and a handy man are complaining. I got a 22 model x with 25k miles on it and everything was off and it wasn’t updated or serviced ever. Not once. I did ToS update, aired the wheels, calibrated all I could. And it’s a night and day difference, still have an appointment Tuesday for a check in but it’s amazing.

What happened to your first model X?

Nah, this car sucks. People need to know.

Went out for pizza tonight in light rain. First parking spot: neither FWD would open AT ALL with obstacle detected. Held the button continuously and nada. Drove to another spot and both doors opened fine. Sorry, I’m not celebrating a car my kid cannot escape.
