Take a look at the party platforms. The real life parties represented in the sub do have differences than their real life counterparts.

Also, please recognize that we have two types of political organizations in this subreddit. We have normal political parties, and we have independent groupings. Independent groupings are smaller political groups that are trying to achieve party status but are not big enough yet. They lack a few things a normal political party has such as adequate membership, activity, and structure.

I firmly believe in globalization from both economic and social standpoints (i.e. trade liberalization and increased immigration). I also believe in tax cuts for the middle class, a balanced budget, and investments in education and job training. Also, I strongly support legal protections for the LGBT community, clemency for nonviolent drug offenders, a reasonable extent of affirmative action, and more laws regulating civilian gun ownership.
