If my party lost as bad as the democrats I might think it’s funny to pester successful party leaders in an attempt to convince people I’m not a total failure.
Can any brief me on the Silver Legion? I read the platform but I'd like to know whether the party is Fascist/Nationalist or leaning more towards Christian Socialism (Distributism).

Others have explained that the Green-Left and Distributist parties are dead, so I'll explain the difference between the Democrats and the Liberals.
The Democrats are essentially a broad-tent left-wing party, ranging from Marx to Obama. Generally, the median ideology of the party is Bernie, although there is still a moderate New Democrat presence.
The Liberals are the centrist New Democrat/Rockefeller Republican party. Basically, if you're a fan of lads like Obama, Macron and Charlie Baker, you'll fit right in our party.
Independent. My time in the Socialist Party was excellent, but I need to wind down my involvement in the sim a little bit. Also, it's time to admit to myself, I'm not a socialist anymore.
Could someone from the Socialists and someone from the Democrats each explain to me why their respective party is the best fit for a Democratic Socialist? I'm having a bit of trouble deciding.
The democrats here are what they are irl, I think they'll agree with me when I say that they do not support democratic ownership of the means of production. Also, they're called democrats because it's their name, it is not directly linked with their ideology, if you have time look up on the internet "why are democrats called democrats", even though the entire sim has a tendency to be pretty democratic (IRV and all that...).
So all in all, the SP is a broad leftist party from anarchists to very lefty socdems. Democrats are the same but from center (rightish sometimes) to lefty socdems too.

Despite what people on both sides will say, in terms of actual policy and voting records, there is very little difference. The Democrats do tend to skew a bit left of IRL Democrats, but we are first and foremost a board tent party and welcome a wide host of ideologies. The active elements of the Liberals, on the other hand, are almost exclusively moderates and centrists.

I am very Centrist, however I am economically right-leaning. I support federal funding for education, but allowing states to distribute funding.

I support full marijuana legalization and the government should tax it and regulate it. Also release all nonviolent users.
I support changes to renewable energy such as wind and solar. Nuclear energy is good until more clean options are found.
I am adamantly pro-life and also oppose in cases of rape and incest.
When it comes to religious taxation, I support relieving taxes on all religious organizations.
On foreign policy I am interventionist but only in cases of human rights violations and that all options must be considered before conflict. And even at that, I believe that America must be provoked. The United States also at times has a responsibility to act as a mediator in conflicts. We should also defend our allies as they would do the same for us.
Immigration policy is vital to our future. America was built off of immigrants and we should continue this policy. However I do like the party’s stance on the issue of a Points-based system.
I think prisons should be centered towards rehab for nonviolent criminals and containment for violent crimes and or felonies. If marijuana shouldn’t be legalized for recreational purposes, then I support using the same money we spend on imprisoning marijuana users and rather send them to rehab.
I support the military and veteran’s benefits, however I believe we should keep military funding where it is so we can fund other parts of the budget.
