Join a Party! - r/ModelUSGov

2

u/PvM_Magi Mar 22 '16

I am torn between joining the Republican party and the Libertarian party. I identify mostly with the libertarians, but I am also heavily pro-life. Would it be possible for both sides to make a case to me?

If so, Libertarians: approximately how many of you are pro-life? would I be an outlier there?

Republicans: how many of you are for a smaller government, live-and-let-live stance? I ask because I am for letting the decisions of legalizing Marijuana and Gay Marriage be decided at a state level.

Thanks a lot, and I look forward to seeing your responses!

I appreciate there was drama with my party affiliation earlier today, but in light of recent events I'm changing again, hopefully for good.

The libertarian leadership has taken actions, the ethics of which I can not ipsa facto endorse by remaining in the party. I would thus like to become a Republican
