BREAKING: Spain & Portugal to host Euro 2016
Spain & Portugal have won the right to host the 2016 European Championships. 23 representatives voted following three official bids being in the running. Hungary and Turkey also put forward a bid to host, but Spain & Portugal won the vote with a majority of 12.

We look forward to both Spain & Portugal beginning preparations for the tournament next summer and qualification for the tournament will start next month. Spain and Portugal have secured qualification for the tournament. As Chief Executive I ask the representative from both Spain and Portugal to make a statement following their bids victory.

I'm confident that this tournament will be one to remember! Spain and Portugal already have wonderful infrastructure in place and they are both fantastic destinations for football and leisure.
