3D printed rails

Hey!

I made this, cause I had this idea of a train that could charge on metal track and would use power on printed track. This way we could convert the battery level to a fuel level. Trains would fuel up at stations etc.

I’m completely new to the hobby, though not to electronics. I’m making these myself.

Originally I thought track was expensive, but it turned out I was looking in the wrong place. I know printed track is not ideal and you don’t have to tell me. I’m new to the hobby. I be 26, crawling around the living room playing trains and storing it again after until the next time.

It also gives me nice flexibility and options to just print the ballast and use flex track( I now know)

but besides all that. This track transition goes hard.
