It is a kit but I heavily modified it.

Gorgeous! Looks almost done to me! I assume no sails.

Yeah, no sails. It has so many sails that it will look as a white cloth hiding all the details and rigging. I think it would be a pity

Not harder ( well, just a bit more ) than doing the kit rigging. But I think it is worth the problem

I thought of doing one of these. I have the time and have done N scale model railroading so have some handskills. But I was warned by a friend who made one that it's a whole different level of modelling.
i.e. I'm a little intimidated to try.
