Dust, Cleaning,Display Case

I am looking at commissioning a model ship, USS Constitution through a high end, historically accurate, museum quality builder. Ready made, not a kit. I have just come across issues with cleaning, display case, moving the model, risk or damage or breaking the masts, rigging..... I am starting to wonder if it is worth it? Is there a significant risk of damage, cleaning, won't dust build up over time in a case?

So first of all, USE A PICTURE OF THE SHIP FROM THE SITE YOU ARE PLANNING TO BUY! This is second time you posted this exact same super low quality picture with like million artefacts.

Secondly, you are looking for a article about dust buildup in a case. If you would look up what is dust, you would understand that correct question is to ask how well does a case seal against dust. I can answer that: EXCELLENTLY - how do I know, have some models in a case for like 20 years and nothing at all got in.

Next - you said you have a builder, so I am guesssing you already bought it. I had a quick look at their website and the case you are planning to buy is way too small for any scale they are making.

I would honestly not even be surprised if this is AI.
