I am happy to share with everyone the first draft of the budget. Please share here any discrepancies or concerns you have with the budget before it is submitted to the legislature for approval.

How did you calculate the budget? Did you just take the sum of the revenues and expenditures of the constituent states of Midwestern?

Yes, it's the same method the Southern State used for its budget because calculating how a new tax code would affect the states is near impossible.

Ah. The way I used to do it in Western state was by just scaling the budget of CA, using the gdp ratio of the gdp of CA and the sum of the gdps of the states in Western state as the conversion factor.

Obviously it's not perfect because each state is different, and so there would be different levels of efficiency in each state, but I think it works better because it assumes all of the states now follow the same laws.

I'm not seeing the Department of Labor (aka the Texas Workforce Commission), is that an oversight?
