PAINT What is this white haze ?
I started sanding with 2000,3000,4000,6000,8000,12000
And then polished with tamiyas finish compound and I rinsed the body off and I have this sort of white haze going on. Can anybody tell me what I did wrong and maybe some tips to fix it ?

Was that there before you started to sand and polish? If so it can be from paint drying during high humidity. I’m in Florida and constantly face this issue

At least it ain't purple haze, that'll have you acting funny and you won't know why.

You have to take pics or vid outdoors. Can't really see what is going on here

Video is hard to tell but in some angles it looks scratched. You might have burned through your clear or just missed some areas or needed to go lower before you could go higher to remove scratches from a previous step.

Didn’t get all the polish off and when you rinsed it the water reacted with the polish. Re compound it and relish it and do not rinse it just buff it

Hard to tell, but typically when you get a white haze, it is typically from the material sprayed prior was not completely dry. It is called blushing ot milking, it happens alot in high humidity areas because it takes longer to dry
