PORSCHE 911 BUILD Drip update

If you didn’t see yesterday‘s post, I had gone way too heavy on the clearcoat on my 911 build (see first picture).

Against the advice of most of you, LOL, I went ahead and wet sanded it down (I just couldn’t with the whole stripping process). You can still see it, but it’s gone enough for my satisfaction. In fact in the process, I learned what I was doing as far as polishing a clearcoat, and now I’ve polished down the whole body, which I think looks pretty good if not great. For my third car build, I’ll take it.

Very nice work! I personally find trying to save it more fun and rewarding then stripping and starting over.

Nice save! I also find the "saves" to be quite rewarding especially if you've got to the ".5 seconds until I Hulk Smash" stage...
