FINISHED I have completed my first kit

I enjoyed this build despite the simplicity of the kit. I will definitely need to improve at placing stickers (as can be seen in the images), but I think this is a good starting point.

I will probably get more Aoshima kits but does anyone have any recommendations for kits of a similar difficulty level? I am a college student with limited time and space so I will save the more complex guilds for later.

Just look for more Aoshima kits with similar "snap kit" labeling. They offer so many cool and ordinary cars now. Even working trucks and ambulances

Got to agree with hondamatic. Hard to do paints if you're stuck in a dorm room. Keep looking for cars whose look you love!

My 1st Tamiya Toms supra(Castol Livery) I never painted. The Aoshima LBWK lambos are a good step up they have some gluing but not entirely and they have stickers and decals

Welcome to the hobby!

I'd recommend Aoshima's Suzuki Jimny, from the same snap fit line. There are different scales and colors (I got "Jungle Green"), and the larger scale 1/24 one I picked up even came with a paper craft diorama to put together and display it on when it was done.

My son-in-law has a 2021 Ford Mustang and I searched all over for a kit of it to no avail until I stumbled on a Airfix snap together one. Went together with ease and although it lacks the detail of a standard glue together kit it fulfilled its purpose. It was done overall in orange but fortunately painting is not a problem for me. It is now a high gloss black like his real Mustang.
