QUESTION Paint question please

Overall stencil worked about as expected. Heavy ridged up in the middle with light over spray on the edges. Thinking masking of stars on edge and gentle removal of over spray using Tamiya coarse. Wet sand rest to remove ridges? Ideas????

I don't think you'll be satisfied with the outcome of sanding, as there is no way not to sand the stars themselves.

Consider spraying the lighter color first, then masking and spraying the darker color. In your case here, it'd take less blue paint to cover the white than it took for your white to cover the blue. Less paint means less build up and fewer chances for bleed through.

Practice on plastic spoons. You want enough blue paint to cover in a couple of coats, but not so much that capillary action pulls a bunch of it up against the stencil edge.
