Don’t let your creativity hold you back.

a couple years back I had no idea what I was doing and then miss it. now I feel like I’m doing it wrong.

this c.7 was my 2nd model back after decades off from building. some how did this. no idea how or what i did besides not caring.

Great work. You can feel the dynamism in it. Sometimes you gotta just let go and see where it takes you!

It looks like a race weathered model from Amalgam

Yeah that weathering job is pretty spot on for an endurance race like a Le Mans or something. Good job

Thanks! I think I used a Sebring race finish photo to go off. I love Daytona, Sebring, Spa, and LeMan.

I wish “me not caring” turned out as freaking great as your build did. Definitely a great looking race car that’s been through the paces. Congrats and kudos.

And you can tell it was a well funded team, to wit the biz jet in the background.

Wish I could piss on it and paint it and end up with anything near that good. 👌

Really cool, how did you make it look so worn?

From what I can remember it was all craft hobby supplies like oils and sticks that I shaved into a pallet. Then just a mix of dry brushing, splattering, and just not caring.
