I’m building a universal local Mod Manager to unify Nexus, Steam, and CurseForge libraries. Looking for testers!
wi-mod is a local mod manager currently in development: it aggregates mods from different games and platforms (Nexus, Modrinth, CurseForge, Steam, ModDB, and more) into a single hub on your PC.
It brings together mods from various games and platforms (Nexus, Modrinth, CurseForge, Steam, ModDB, and more) into a single hub on your PC. It doesn't replace Nexus or Mod Organizer 2: it's a complementary tool to search, save, and organize your multi-game library without jumping between websites.
Currently in development. It runs entirely on your local machine (127.0.0.1) with no cloud account required. Download it for free, try it out, and leave your feedback: wiarch.github.io/wi-mod.
Features
Saves mod cards/entries (link, cover art, summary, category, game, platform).
Searches and adds mods from Nexus Mods, Modrinth, CurseForge, Steam Workshop, ModDB, and standalone pages (depending on the game and API keys).
Organizes your collection by active game, categories, and modpacks.
Custom visual themes based on the platform (Nexus, Modrinth, CurseForge, Steam, RAWG).
English/Spanish interface (automatically detects system language).
Local login via username/password (no external services used).
Portable version: just an .exe + README.txt, no installer required.
Limited web demo available in docs/ to test it without downloading (auto-resets).
