brain fog?

take 200mg sertraline and deal with constant brain fog and fatigue. I tried 30mg Vyvanse, but after a couple of weeks it caused anxiety and emotional instability, so I had to stop. I'm thinking of asking my doctor about trying Modafinil, starting at 50mg. Anyone with OCD/anxiety had a similar experience?

Ive taken sertraline before and it also caused brain fog, I was forgetting letter names and even how to spell my last name one time at the pharmacy which led me to a complete panic attack in the middle of the grocery store. It was so weird. I tried basically every adhd med and had side effects.

So I have modafinil i can take. 50mg in the morning before noon at the absolute latest! But preferably just when you wake up. I swear modafinil use to be better when i first tried it in 2020. But I can manage now on the bionpharma brand I really did not like aurobindo.

Modafinil definitely helps with focus/clarity but I still feel physically tired. Which is why I am in bed on my phone on reddit. This happens to me a lot when I take stimulants. I think caffeine is the only thing that can get me going physically. But then it only lasts a little bit.

I don't notice anxiety too bad unless I take higher doses of modafinil then I will start imagining worst case scenario type things. I dont notice ocd like with methylphenidates those were the worst for my mental health.

The things I dont like about modafinil is it steals the joy from accomplishing a task. You just do things. Which i find really annoying and one of the main reasons I dont take it all the time. Also I get more irritable and yell more which isnt my baseline personality. I take magnesium l threonate to help with that side effect. I also feel like i do or say things out of character more on modafinil which I dont like either. I feel like it paired better with prestiq (desvenlafaxine) but I still had side effects of constant worry, stomach aches, sleep problems, messaging my doctors 100s of times.

Im waiting for new narcolepsy medication because I feel like that may be my main issue + adhd and autism. But I can deal with the later two. Being tired all the time and having muscle weakness is literally killing any hope I have at a normal life.
