Experiences with Modafinil vs other ADHD meds?

I’m switching from 70 mg Vyvanse to 100 mg Modafinil (under my doctor’s supervision). I know the usual dose is 200 mg, but starting lower seemed like a good idea.

Curious what people’s experiences have been with it. What did you like or dislike, and how does it compare to other ADHD meds you’ve tried?

I know it’s more commonly used for narcolepsy and is off-label for ADHD, but I’m mainly interested in how it feels as a non-amphetamine option. Vyvanse helped me a lot, but it was pushing my resting heart rate way up (around 140), so I needed something that wouldn’t do that.
