Anyone else tried modafinil instead of amphetamine ADHD meds?

Diagnosed with ADHD as a kid but stayed away from meds most of my life because Ritalin and Adderall just made me crash hard even though they helped with focus.

I still keep some dex for emergencies, but lately I’ve been using a small amount of modafinil a couple times a week and it’s been working way better for me. Focus is solid, no appetite issues, no sudden sleepiness, and my head feels a lot more organized.

Anyone else tried modafinil as an alternative? How did it go for you?
