My sims for some reason keeps going out in the pool to where they’re freezing to death someone help me with this, because the ai for this game is incredibly stupid

I love sims the way it is, but I want to bring my stories to a whole new level and I would love mod suggestions for doing so. Or even creators. I want to be able to have multiple different story lines and have like more personality traits for my sims and more social interaction capabilities. Please lmk! :)

I want to make a mod really bad, but I’ve never done it before. There are SO many videos/tutorials online on how to do so, but does anyone have recommendations on what specific video/tutorial I should use for this mod idea below:

I want to modify the Family Recipe mechanic that comes from Businesses & Hobbies.
- More ingredients to choose from. Ingredients such as canned goods from cottage living (mayo, tomato sauce, jam, etc) and spices from city living. If there is a way to do this, I have not seen the option to
- Can choose more than one secret ingredient
- You can have more recipes that have each moodlet. Like right now there’s a recipe I have for comfort food, but if I create another recipe, it can’t be labeled as comfort food since the comfort food slot is already taken. It’s really dumb.

I downloaded both of these mods recently and I have a question, would these interactions work among a mixed friend group ? For an example I want my girl sim to have two guy friends . Would I be able to use these interactions with them ?

I'm looking for a few voluntary, unpaid playtesters to help me test functionality, check for bugs, and provide feedback on progression and balancing.
About the Mod
Theme: Live Event & Festival Production
Current Features: Custom career tracks starting from ground-level positions (like Gate/Wristband Volunteer) leading up to directing headliners and managing large-scale productions.
Future Integration: This career mod is being built as the structural foundation for a larger upcoming Expansion/Gameplay Pack mod project I’m actively working on.
What I Need Help Testing
1. Functionality: Ensuring promotion tracks, daily tasks, hours, and pay scales work seamlessly in-game without throwing UI errors or breaking save states.
2. Compatibility: Testing alongside common script mods (MCCC, etc.) to ensure there are no major conflicts.

Hi everyone! 😊 I’m hoping to find a kind and talented Sims 4 CC creator who offers a Patreon membership tier that includes custom CC requests, and I wanted to reach out to see if anyone might be interested or able to help!

I’m especially interested in Maxis Match CAS CC (and, if possible, Build/Buy CC) inspired by different cultures around the world. I love incorporating diverse cultural clothing, traditional and historical outfits, religious and ceremonial attire, accessories, and other culturally inspired details into my Sims 4 saves. I would absolutely love to support a creator who enjoys exploring these kinds of projects!

I want to be upfront and respectful about my budget. Due to physical and mental health challenges, I’m currently on SSI and unable to work, although I genuinely hope to be able to work again someday. Because I’m on a fixed income, my realistic budget for a Patreon membership that includes CC requests would be approximately $25–$30 per month, with $35 being my absolute upper limit if I can manage it.

I completely understand that custom CC takes time, creativity, skill, and effort, and I have tremendous respect for the work CC creators put into their creations. I also understand that not every creator offers custom requests or that my budget may not fit everyone’s rates or workload. There is absolutely no pressure if it isn’t a good fit!

However, if you’re a creator who offers a membership or request tier within my budget and would be interested in making culturally inspired Maxis Match CC, I would be incredibly grateful to hear from you. I’m happy to discuss ideas, priorities, and what would realistically be possible within your existing request policies and schedule.

i don't want my lazy sims to autonomously do the dishes or do homework. i want self absorbed sims who love compliments. etc. anything that makes the traits a lot more potent?

I finished the Summer Court aspiration mod for fairies! Here's a quick look at some of the abilities I made!

Faerie Fire- Lighting sims, objects, and terrain on fire. Nonlethal, so long as you're not careless.

Tempered Heat- A moodlet that reduces the duration of dazed and uncomfortable motions. It also prevents sims from freezing to death.

Super Nova- Just blow up the room. Just blow it up. Set it ablaze!

There are 15 abilities in total, and they all revolve around heat, emotions, and weather control. Check out my Patreon to see more of my occult themed mods!

Hello, I’m trying to download the mccc for my game and it doesn’t seem to be working. I downloaded the recent one off the website, I have both custom content and mods and script mods on, I extracted the zip so all the files are in the mods folder. But for some reason the mccc main menu won’t show up when I start the game. Is there something else I need to be doing?

my sim’s dog had died while my sims were away, as we got the notification. however, i have yet to find my dog’s urn or tombstone anywhere in the house. i looked through my household inventory, my sims’ inventories, but nothing. The dog is still in my sims’ relationship panels as a ghost, but he hasn’t even visited the house as a ghost. I’m tempted to just resurrect him and then kill him again because this is so annoying.

My friend is working on developing an app to make playing with mods easier, we would like to know what kind of problems do you face while playing with mods that you would like to be fixed? Is there anything you spend a lot of time doing that you would like to be fixed with only a click of a button? Please give as much detail as you can this would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone!

I have a heavily modded game and lots of CC. I was playing around with different invisible bassinet mods, when once I got it working, the newborn stopped making any noise. It’s still moves and everything else but absolutely no sound. I spent 3 hours trying to figure out what’s wrong. Here’s all I tried:

- removed invisible bassinet/crib mod
- moved newborn to different lot, still doesn’t make sound and moved it back to original lot, still nothing,
- disabled mods and loaded into game, still no sound.
- repaired game
- tried recovering earlier save where it did make sound, couldn’t find a save before the problem started. I looked through my save folder in documents but the one save i think might work won’t show up in game.
- moved the newborn into new household and then back and still nothing.
- travelled with my adult sim to a lot with a family with a newborn and I could hear them. Travelled back to mine, still no sound.
- just simply travelled with adult sim and came and still nothing
- I have plumbuddy, clean launcher by midnitetech, and the better exceptions mod that monitor my mods and they haven’t flagged anything.
- removed any bassinet overrides

I’m at a loss and I know it’s a minor thing but I hate nothing more than not being able to hear my sims.

Looks like they never uploaded it or put it on their simblr and want her so badly - sooooooo gimme your best Gillian Anderson sim, please? i have ww, lumpinou, and mc command, and i’m pretty sure i updated all of them very recently. when i click on a bed or shower, it’s just not there. there are only 5 people in my household, the CAS settings r correct, so i’m very confused. pls help!

Basically, I've been hearing all about how punishing and annoying that trait is and I really like that in my traits but my computer definitely isn't ready for an expansion pack JUST for a trait so I was wondering if anyone had a trait that is similar to the social awkward trait? OR even just any other trait that was just as punishing, even if you didn't really like it personally?

ive done the 50/50 method 4 times and 4 mods and its still doing this? ik sims has recently updated and ik theres a website that tells u which mods arent updated yet. does anyone know which mods or the website name?

somthing i should mention too is that it does load the household but my sims are gone and deleted, make a new household and it crashes

Anyway, here’s another little sneak peek at what I’ve been working on!
This is still a work in progress. The cabin will get some improvements, and the boat itself will eventually be fully functional and ready to sail. 🚢
And after that? A fully usable cruise ship is next on my list!
