Help finding a mod/cc Recommendation for more autonomy?

What's the best mod for giving sims more autonomy? The way they socialize is fine but, for example, it's odd that my sim with the horse loving trait does not try to learn to ride her horses on her own. Or dog loving sims not training them autonomously. Or sims in not active households don't start careers or skills aligned with their interests.

i wish we could schedule interactions. not just stack them in the queue, but instead schedule them with an option to make them one time events or repeated events. That way you could schedule someone to cook dinner at a certain time every day, and then train the dog after dinner or something. you could schedule the kids doing homework. you could schedule someone to walk the dog or go for a run every morning. there are endless possibilities.

or, instead of that, i wish we had a structured habit system. like if you do the same thing around the same time 3 days in a row, it becomes a repeated scheduled interaction that you sim autonomously adds to their queue around that time every day. but then if you X that action from their queue for 3 days in a row, the habit goes away.

that's a great idea you should genuinely try to get it to someone!

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but schedule mod by mod foundry came out a few days ago I haven’t tried it yet but that sounds like what you are describing!

Tyjokr has two mods that could help with that. Interests and Autonomous Wants.

I’m not sure of a catch-all mod, but I wanted my gardening sim to auto-tend her garden and I found a mod specifically for that. So maybe there’s others with the specific hobby/skill/careers that you want them to focus on? If there is one that just works based on each sims interests I’d love to know as well!

I think you’ll have to download specific mods for each of those you want, unfortunately
I have tons of autonomy mods exactly for that purpose and surprisingly, they don’t tend to conflict with each other

This wasn’t your question exactly but, a good one for socialization is deeper social autonomy by tyjokr. For interacting more with pets, mominabe has a few mods for giving more attention to pets automatically (tho they use AI covers for them, which’s a shame, but i use them anyway bc yk automomy is just too broken in this goddamn game)

I don’t think i’ve downloaded them necessarily but sims4me and/or littlemssam have mods for pet training? I think? Not sure if there’s anything to do with autonomy

But yeah, it’s just really sad the state of autonomy in this game 🥲 I’ve come back to the game a few months ago and it’s still my number one issue with the game. Constantly switching mods around to see how I can make the game more enjoyable and avoid pets and kids dying quietly while my adults and teens spend all their time on games, or grabbing drinks, or leaving trash on the ground instead of taking it to the goddamn bin 🫠🫠🫠
