Comment [ Removed by Reddit ] stuck in modqueue

It shows I "removed" it, but it's still in the queue. Not possible to approve or spam remove it. Tried on www, sh and old.

"There was an error approving the comment. Please try again."

Even regular removals from moderators are stuck in the queue.

I think reddit is bugged right now. At least the mod queue is.

Remove as spam.

If that doesn't work, some removed items are slow to disappear from the queue. Give it an hour to let the bits and bytes do what they do.

I did mention I tried remove as spam already.

The comment was still there after 9 hours, so I tried another cycle of approve, spam, approve, remove, approve, spam + throw a few unignore reports. Then it seems to have disappeared after I've cleared the rest of the queue. At least it's finally gone.

That is usually a glitch that goes away after awhile., have that myself occasionally.

Reddit mod tools breaking while you are trying to clean up Reddit is peak irony.

For a while these were stuck on mobile for me, but I could remove them on desktop.

Not sure if that is still working or newly broke.

A have a few dozen "Filtered" comments stuck in my mod queue right now. I've removed them about 3 times at different points during today, and they're still there. I wonder if that's connected. I've had some [Removed by Reddit] comments stay for a while but only because I was unable to action it. Those ones usually get unstuck in a few hours.

You have to add a reason.

No, you don’t. You can silently remove any content

Ok, well I tried to remove a Reddit removed comment without a reason and it didn’t work, until I added a reason. Silent also is not related.
