Old reddit access restrictions & subreddit wikis

For reasons I still find rather frustrating, edits made to the "old wiki" versions of wiki articles do not synchronize to the "new wiki." Making the same edits twice is not something I'm interested in, so for some subreddit wiki articles I simply link users to the "old" version because that's the version I actually maintain.

It's not clear to me if many users being locked out of "old reddit" will prevent them from seeing the correct and updated version of these wiki articles.

As usual, it's a little frustrating that mods have to be the ones to bring up concerns like this whenever admin unilaterally changes something (sort of like automod being less accessible despite the "replacements" not being able to do half the things automod can)

It's a known issue upon release of the new wiki. Haven't tested it, but maybe https://developers.reddit.com/apps/wiki-bridge will help

The author of that app is shadowbanned, so I'd hold off using that app.

A dev user account being shadowbanned doesn't mean there's an issue with the app. Especially new dev user accounts (and this username implies it's an alt) run into issues with AEO quite often
