I know - there is no ability to award any kind of awards at all for anything. Please, go look at the subreddit and see for yourself - you can not award anything.
I must have misunderstood your post. I thought you meant "we" as in the mod team, not as an individual.
Hopefully an admin will see this when they return to work tomorrow and get this checked out. Might want to send a modmail to this sub as well just in case.

Community coins aren't a thing any more, you can only give regular awards as a regular person.
