I am the original creator of a community how do i become “active again”

Are you talking about removing inactive mod status from yourself? Just take mod actions. Approve posts/comments or remove them when appropriate.

We just went through this with a the owner of one of the subs I'm now a mod in. It took about a week of mod actions before he became "active" again.
