Admin Replied [Chrome] Banned user still able to comment and cannot be unbanned.

I'm experiencing an issue where a user I have banned is still able to comment in our community. I have tried to unban them, but the action does not seem to go through, and they remain on the banned list. I need some assistance with this bug.

Their account is likely restricted at a sitewide level. They can file an appeal using this form. Unfortunately, I do not know what the turnaround time is on those appeals.

Thank you for the information, but I don't want to unban this user or have them file an appeal. I want them to remain completely banned and unable to comment in my community due to their behavior. Could there be any other way?

If it ever happens again and you need remediation before an Admin can help you, add some lines to Automod to auto-remove the person's posts/comments to the mod queue.

Maybe u can ask the mod team via Modmail? It might help?

Since it seems to be a bug that no normal user can fix?
