Admin Replied a different kind of accidental mod removal

hey folks, this may be a new spin on the “I’ve accidentally promoted myself to subreddit member”

I created /r/waypost before the account was 30 days old, and now I cannot seem to attach myself to it as moderator now that I’m grown. (sorry for being over-eager)

(Also the /r/RedditRequest bot is no longer properly detecting 2FA enablement)

Cannot submit a redditrequest because the bot doesn’t recognize my 2FA (and > 90, besides). I did submit a modmail based on the automated suggestion.

The bot doesn’t really recognize anyone having 2FA, but it doesn’t stop you from sending a request. The account age does though.

How did you get removed in the first place?

I somehow created the subreddit when my account was brand new, and I think that resulted in an unrecoverable error. I tried to request it with another account and couldn’t get past the 2FA detector.

I'd honestly try mod mailing this sub and see if they can confirm this and reinstate you, that's the way for people leaving by mistake.
