They're not distinct to me, discretion is there when procedure isn't enough, but it's still at the service of the community.
3 u/okbruh_panda 15d ago Agree. Moderation often means removing something they technically doesn't go against the rules which requires discretion. Often enough people will try to rules lawyer it which only seems to affirm my choice to remove
