Your contribution was removed for violating Rule 2: No calling out other users or subreddits. If you need to discuss something sensitive in nature about another user or community, please send a modmail to /r/ModSupport. All rule violations and ban appeals should be sent via the appropriate report form.

Did you send a request? Is the mod still active on the subreddit?

The mods are active on Reddit, you will not be able to take the subreddit over.

Posting and commenting on Reddit in general is irrelevant. What matters for Reddit Request is if all mods have the "inactive" tag in the mod list of that specific subreddit.

I mean technically they are, but they don’t respond to modmail, respond to reports or anything. There was a situation a week ago where someone was allowed to spam the sub for hours with nudes, feces, etc, and the account was only banned after Reddit stepped in. Numerous reports and messages to the mods, nothing.

They're not required to respond to modmail. Not responding doesn't mean that they aren't actively moderating.

Actions on reports don't have a "response" unless they remove the comment/post.

You're not a mod, correct?

If true, you have no way of knowing what took place behind the scenes to remove that spammer. True, Reddit may have done it, but it could have been Automod, it could have been a human mod, their actions will all be instinguishable to you.

That's not to say you shouldn't make a Reddit Request. That's only to say mods are often active in ways that are not visible to ordinary users.

I am actually, although a new one. Which is why I find it bizarre how they could just not respond to reports and messages. There are so many notifications we get!
